If Adsense is running on your site or blog, ill tell you a few tips to increase the income with just 5 easy steps, taking no more than 10 minutes of your time:
1.Change your link colour to blue. While I cannot disclose my CTR I can tell you that this one little change more than doubled my CTR. I know that there are others out there who advocate that your link colour should be the same as the other links on your site, but try it out for yourself for a day or two. I think you will be highly surprised!
2.Set the URL colour to the same colour as the ad's text. This makes the URL ''melt" in and makes the link colour stand out more, definitely making it more "clickable".
3.Decrease the number of Adsense blocks that you are displaying on a page. I don't know how others have experienced this, but my income seemed to be less if I had more than one block of Adsense ads displayed at once - and your CTR is definitely less if you have more than
4.
My suggestion would be to have one Adsense block in your content, and an Adlinks block somewhere at the top of your page. Adlinks is great because if someone clicks on a link in it, they are taken to a page with many more choices on it, which increases your chances of them clicking through.
5.Write Content Around High Paying Keywords
Now write articles or even create new niche websites around the high paying keywords you identified in the previous step. Be sure to include the relevant keywords in the page title and in headers so the AdSense bot gets the context right and displays ads for which people are bidding high. Putting emphasis (bold & italics) on the keywords near the ads helps too.

Getting 0.05 cents per click? How about $2, $4, $7, or more per click? Targeting with High Paying Keywords ensures that you get more Earnings per Click (EPC). All you need is more traffic. An ideal high paying keyword has more Advertisers and less competing pages. Such a keyword has high traffic value, and
therefore, people link easily to your web page

No! High paying keywords are not the keywords that have high CPC. There are many keywords in Google Adwords system, which have a high CPC, but no Advertisers bidding on them. Relying too much on the CPC can lead you to many Fake high paying keywords. High Paying Keywords refer to those keywords on which the advertisers bid madly, and are ready to pay (more than average) per click to anybody who fetches them the target traffic. Keywords are the search phrases that belong to a specific industry. For example, "Student loan" belongs to Finance or Loan industry. Some industries are highly populated with Advertisers and competitors while others are not. And those keywords are called High Paying Keywords.

If you're wondering about something, don't be afraid to ask Google. So far, they've always responded to my questions within a working day. There are two email addresses to use, depending on the type of question:
adsense-tech@google.com about technical quiestions or adsense-support@google.com for account questions

When I reworked my site, I built a skeleton set of pages that had no content, just titles and some meta tags. I displayed ads on those pages, however. Although all you see are public service ads at first, the very act of displaying ads on a page causes the AdSense web crawler to quickly fetch that page for analysis. A page with good content will thus begin showing relevant paying ads fairly quickly.

If you don't have any content, then, Google will have to guess as what your page is about. It may guess wrong, and so the ads that it displays may not be relevant. You'll have to wait until Google re-crawls the site for the ads to correct themselves
